Our more than 20 years of experience allow us to manufacture profiles with very complex geometries.
Depending on the necessary requirements, these profiles can be produced applying different types of resin, the most common being polyester resin, but epoxy, vinyl ester, acrylic, phenolic or polyurethane resin can also be used. The most commonly used reinforcement is fiberglass, although if higher structural requirements are necessary, carbon fiber can be used.
‘Tecnipul’ technical department works together with our clients to design a profile that perfectly matches to the required needs, such as thickness, shape, raw materials and mechanical characteristics.
The maximum size that we can manufacture is:
- Width: 1500mm
- Height: 600mm
- Thickness: 55mm
Tecnipul provides extra applications, such as machining, painting, insert placement, finishes, etc. throughout the production process.
If it is required by the applications, profiles with fire retardant properties can be manufactured, according to the following requirements: Bs2 D0 or ASTM 84, among others.
One of the sectors where custom profiles are used most is in the transport sector where trains, trams, coaches and refrigerated trucks often require special profiles. They can also be used in the telecommunications and electrical sectors, etc.
